Man Utd borrowed Odion Ighalo, a 30-year-old striker from Shanghai Shanghai Bodybuilding on a six-month contract.

The deal was finalized in the last few hours on January 31 – the last day of the mid-season transfer market. According to the BBC, the contract has no terms for a definitive purchase.

Ighalo is training with Shanghai to prepare for the Chinese League (CLS) for the new season. But on January 30, the tournament announced an indefinite delay in the start of the corona virus pandemic.

Ighalo is one of many foreign stars fleeing from CSL on this occasion, both to avoid the risk of infection, and to seek opportunities to compete, maintain the style. The Nigerian striker will fly to England on February 1 to complete personal terms and medical checks.
